Chris Engler
Born and raised in North Carolina, woodworking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started at five years old, helping my pawpaw around the farm, learning the value of working with your hands and building things to last. Growing up, I was drawn to the timeless beauty and craftsmanship of Amish-built furniture—the honesty, simplicity, and attention to detail always stuck with me. In my 30s, I learned the art of chair caning, which opened a new door creatively. That’s when everything clicked: blending fine woodworking with the natural beauty of woven materials. From that passion came a vision for an outdoor furniture company built on quality, craftsmanship, and durability—pieces made to be lived with, weathered by time, and passed down, not replaced.
